Tickets to MAMMA MIA!, the smash-hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, and Broadway sensation FLASHDANCE-THE MUSICAL at The Smith Center will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 15. The worldwide sensation MAMMA MIA! will play The Smith Center Jan. 7-12, 2014, and the electrifying FLASHDANCE-THE MUSICAL will take the stage Jan. 28 - Feb. 2, 2014.

Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA's songs from "Dancing Queen" and "S.O.S." to "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me," MAMMA MIA! is a feel-good production celebrating family and friendship. Donna, a single mother who owns a small hotel on an tranquil Greek island, is about to let go of Sophie, the lively daughter she has single-handedly raised. As Sophie's wedding approaches, Donna invites her two lifelong friends - the practical Rosie and wealthy Tanya - from her one-time backing band, Donna and the Dynamos, to assist with the preparations. On a quest to find the identity of her father before her wedding day, Sophie brings back three men from Donna's past to the Mediterranean paradise they visited 20 years earlier. In a period of 24 chaotic hours, new love will bloom and old romances will be rekindled on the island full of possibilities.

With high-energy dance at its core, FLASHDANCE-THE MUSICAL tells the inspiring and unforgettable story of Alex Owens, a Pittsburgh steel mill welder by day and a bar dancer by night with dreams of one day becoming a professional performer. When romance with her steel mill boss threatens to complicate her ambitions, Alex learns the meaning of love and its power to fuel the pursuit of her dream.
