The Smith Center for the Performing Arts continues its hallmark Broadway Las Vegas series with "Anything Goes" and "West Side Story" taking the stage in Reynolds Hall in February 2013.

"Anything Goes," playing Feb. 5 through 10, is the famed 1934 musical comedy about lovers, liars and clowns on a transatlantic cruise. The musical follows the S.S. American as it heads out to sea while etiquette and convention head out the portholes. Two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail.

Winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, Roundabout Theatre Company's "Anything Goes" sails direct from Broadway under the direction of Kathleen Marshall, winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Choreography. The New York Times calls it "a zesty new revival with knockout numbers and white-hot dancing" while the Associated Press exclaims that it's "so delightful, so delicious, so de-lovely!"

"West Side Story," playing Feb. 26 through March 3, tells the story of star-crossed lovers Tony and Maria as they struggle to rise above the hatred and intolerance that surrounds them. Revered as the greatest love story of all time, "West Side Story" remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever. The Bernstein and Sondheim score is considered to be one of Broadway's finest and features such classics of the American musical theatre as "Something's Coming," "Tonight," "America," "I Feel Pretty" and "Somewhere."

Tickets for "Anything Goes" and "West Side Story" begin at $24 and are available online at www.TheSmithCenter.com, by phone at 702-749-2000 or 808-326-6868 (TTY) and at the Box Office located at 361 Symphony Park Ave. For preferred seating and special rates for groups of 10 or more, contact 702-749-2348.
