Nerd rockers The Protomen come to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip tonight, August 18.

The “robot” rock band, known for its original concept albums loosely based on the popular video game series Mega Man, just released Present: A Night of Queen, a live tribute to the titular band. Since performing live for the first time in 2004, the The Protomen have amassed a legion of active and vocal followers dedicated to their mission of delivering “the most vicious rock ‘n’ roll fable that the world has ever known.”

Packed events The Protomen have performed include South by Southwest, Bonnaroo, CMJ Music Marathon, Bamboozle, PAX and Free Press Summer Fest. With several planned albums and a live show that can crumble mountains, there is no stopping these mega-rockers.
