Terry Fator Host Nevada Arthritis Walk, 10/24

By:

Terry Fator, headliner at The Mirage, will hosts the Nevada Arthritis Walk on Saturday, October 24 at Discovery Park in Henderson. Fator will lead this special day of family, fun and fitness for all participants in support of his sister Debi Fator, this year's Arthritis Walk Honorary Chair.

Since winning "America's Got Talent" in 2007, Fator has been a voice of awareness for this debilitating disease as his sister, Debi, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when she was only 18. Part of Fator's initial winnings from "America's Got Talent" was spent on treatments for Debi, which neither could previously afford.

Registration for the Walk begins at 8 a.m., and the Walk begins at 9 a.m. Participants can choose a one-mile or three-mile course. Proceeds from the Walk will support research to find a cure and develop programs and services for the 430,000 adults and children in Nevada living with the chronic pain and disability of arthritis.

Fator will also host a special benefit concert, "Voices for a Cure," in honor of Debi on Sunday, November 15 at 6 p.m. at the Terry Fator Theatre in The Mirage. All proceeds will benefit the Arthritis Foundation, Southern California Chapter. A limited number of VIP tickets are available which include an after-show cocktail reception with Terry and Debi. For VIP tickets please call 702-367-1626. For general ticket information please contact the Mirage Box Office (800) 456-4564 extension 7735.

Tickets for Terry Fator & His Cast of Thousands are priced at $59, $79, $99 and $129, plus tax and service fees. The $129 ticket includes preferred seating, a photo souvenir and front-line access to a meet-and-greet with Fator after the show. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Terry Fator Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at all Mirage Box Office locations, by phone at (702) 792-7777 or (800) 963-9634 or online at www.mirage.com.
