LV Philharmonic 2017-18 Season Performances To Air On Nevada Public Radio

The Las Vegas Philharmonic has partnered with Nevada Public Radio for the third year to broadcast performances from its just concluded 2017-18 season on Classical 89.7 FM Sundays at 2pm, starting July 1. Each broadcast will be 90 minutes to two hours in length and will include conversation with Music Director, Donato Cabrera and Nevada Public Radio's Dave Becker as well as full length performances by your symphony orchestra. The programs featured on air will include the following Las Vegas Philharmonic concerts:

Upcoming air dates:

  • July 1: Oktoberfest - Cabrera Conducts Beethoven, Mozart & Bruckner (performed 10/14/17)
  • July 8: Copland in Mexico - Cabrera Conducts Copland & Revueltas (performed 11/4/17)
  • July 15: A Baroque Holiday - Handel's Messiah (performed 12/2/17)
  • July 22: Musicians' Choice - Cabrera Conducts Bach, Debussey & Vaughan Williams (performed 1/13/18)
  • July 29: Sounds From Twilight - Cabrera Conducts Torke, Schumann & Beethoven (performed 2/10/18)
  • August 5: Carmina Burana - Cabrera Conducts Hindemith & Orff (performed 4/14/18)
  • August 12: Season Finale - Cabrera Conducts Bernstein, Beethoven & Prokofiev (performed 5/19/18)
