Kansas City Actors Theatre has completed casting for its production of Gardner McKay's Sea Marks, the fourth show of its thirteenth season, which will run from January 10th to the 28th at the H&R Block City Stage in Union Station. The production will be directed by Jan Rogge and will star Darren Kennedy and Cinnamon Schultz. The production team includes Gary Mosby (scenic designer), Elizabeth Sampley (properties designer), Sarah M. Oliver (costumer designer), Shane Rowse (lighting designer), Jonathan Robertson (sound designer), and Kyle Dyck (technical director). This will be Darren Kennedy's first appearance with Kansas City Actors Theatre and Jan Rogge's first time directing for the company.

One of North America's most popular traveling exhibitions , Mummies Of The World, is scheduled to close January 1 at Union Station. The exhibition will then begin its over-seas journey, launching its first ever European tour. The exhibition has been traveling the United States since July of 2010. Over the holidays, here in Kansas City, the 1,750,000th visitor is expected to experience Mummies of the World, making it one of the highest attended exhibitions nation-wide.

The first three shows will feature two of Nashville's most gifted songwriters, those being Kerry Kurt Phillips, whose songwriting credits include: 'Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die)' (Joe Diffie), 'Down On The Farm' (Tim McGraw), and 'She Let Herself Go' (George Strait), along with Wynn Varble, star of the hit TV series, Joey and Rory, whose songwriting credits include: 'Have You Forgotten' (Darryl Worley), 'Waitin' On A Woman' (Brad Paisley), and 'A Little More Country Than That' (Easton Corbin).
