Listing Information

Studio Tenn is seeking a full-time Manager of Individual Giving to join our Leadership Team in Franklin, Tennessee.
This new position will help shape and grow individual philanthropy at an important moment in Studio Tenn's development. We're looking for someone who believes fundraising begins with relationships, not transactions—someone who enjoys connecting with people, is comfortable making the ask, and wants to help build a strong culture of philanthropy around the work we do.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, recommend and implement individual-giving strategies to increase donor participation, retention, renewal, upgrades and philanthropic revenue.
- Manage a portfolio and pipeline of individual donors and prospects, building relationships through personal cultivation, solicitation and thoughtful stewardship.
- Lead annual giving, targeted campaigns and Studio Tenn Circle initiatives, establishing clear goals and measuring results.
- Work closely with the Executive Director and Artistic Director to identify opportunities for growth and translate new ideas into effective fundraising initiatives.
- Engage and prepare Board members and organizational leadership for donor conversations, cultivation and solicitation.
- Partner with Patron Services and other departments to strengthen the pathway from patron and subscriber to donor.
- Develop donor communications and stewardship experiences, maintain accurate CRM records, and use data to identify opportunities and guide follow-through. QUALIFICATIONS
We seek a fundraising professional with demonstrated experience in individual giving, donor cultivation and solicitation, strong relationship-building and communication skills, sound judgment, initiative and disciplined follow-through. The successful candidate will be comfortable initiating conversations, building authentic relationships, making direct solicitations and managing multiple priorities. Experience with donor databases or CRM systems and the ability to use information to guide fundraising decisions are important. Experience in theatre or arts organizations is welcome but not required. We value strong individual-giving experience from other nonprofit sectors. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual salary: $55,000–$65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an annual performance bonus opportunity of up to 5%. Studio Tenn offers medical, dental and vision insurance, covering 80% of the employee premium; paid time off beginning at 10 days annually and increasing with tenure; five paid sick days; paid company holidays; an additional paid year-end office closure; and complimentary and discounted access to Studio Tenn productions and programs. This is a primarily in-person position in Franklin, with occasional evening or weekend work for donor meetings, performances and special events, and reasonable schedule flexibility based on organizational needs.
