I love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change Virtual Auditions TexARTS Professional Series is requesting virtual audition submissions for I love you, you’re perfect, now change. Please prepare one 32 bar/1-minute Comedic song in the style of the show. Please attach your headshot and resume to the email as well. All materials should be sent to the Artistic Director Kim Schafer at by November 16. *Callbacks will be in person at TexARTS on Monday, December 7 from 5-10pm. What we are looking for:

We are looking for talented and diverse performers of all ethnicities that are true triple threats. We desire to be as inclusive as possible and we enthusiastically encourage gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender and nonbinary actors to submit to audition for any roles listed. Compensation

$900 total for nonunion professional actors depending on the number of weeks for all rehearsals and performances including Saturday matinee additions (not including the possible extension). Stipends available for current BFA/BA/AA students.

Music Director: Andy Heger I love you, you’re perfect, now change is scheduled to open on Friday, February 12, 2027, and closes on Sunday February 28, 2027. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 19, 2027. Rehearsals are from 6:30-10pm on the weekdays and from 12-6pm on the weekends. There will be one dark day during the week which will be Monday. Shows will be Thursday through Saturday nights at 7:30pm and Sunday matinee at 2pm with possible Saturday matinee additions. Synopsis:

I love you, you’re perfect, now change is a popular musical comedy revue that explores the entire journey of modern love, dating, and marriage through a series of funny, independent vignettes and songs. The show looks at the secrets, joys, and struggles of human relationships from early dating to old age. Character Descriptions:

Female identifying- age range 25-40 Comedic actress/singer that can play a wide array of ages, accents, and characters throughout the show.

Female identifying- age range 40-55 Comedic actress/singer that can play a wide array of ages, accents, and characters throughout the show.
