Call for Submissions: 2026 Spring Play Reading Series - The Actors Theatre Workshop

For over 35 years, We, The Actors Theatre Workshop (ATW) has been a sanctuary for those seeking hope, expression, and community. Founded by master theater artist Thurman E. Scott, we have spent decades empowering artists to discover their voices and envision new possibilities.

We are now accepting submissions for our 2026 Spring Play Reading Series, themed "Finding Hope Through Darkness." We invite playwrights to share their stories of resilience and light as part of our ongoing mission to foster connection through the power of theater.
