Senior Theatre Technician

The USC Kaufman School of Dance is seeking an experienced, full-time Senior Theatre Technician to support our in-house production team. Primarily, this role will be primarily responsible for the technical operations of the Kaufman Dance Center, including the Large Performance Studio, general dance studios, and provide other facility support. The duties will include supporting lighting, sound, AV Equipment, projectors and coordinating necessary maintenance throughout the facility for live performances or events. Occasional support for performances in non-Kaufman venues may also be necessary. Reporting to the Dance Production Manager, an individual in this role will demonstrate a history of success in troubleshooting issues during live performances, bring a calm level-headedness to their work and be enthusiastic about supporting the artistic visions of our community. The Senior Theatre Technician works with a great deal of independence and exercises independent judgment in performing a wide variety of duties and must work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
