Quasi-operatic adaptation of Henry Fielding's classic 18th century novel, this is a musical-within-a-musical as it might have been performed on the stage of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London in the 1790s. Large cast of 37 actor-singer-dancers all of whom play multiple roles under the Actors' Equity Favored Nations agreement, minimum 24 pit musicians (Local 82, parity with actors) multiple, rapidly changing scenes and period costumes which can be described as a "designer's wet dream. A select number of audience members will be invited to attend in costume with a slightly reduced ticket price to offset the cost of rental.
