JOB DESCRIPTION



The Retail Manager is responsible for the daily function and productivity of the LaDuca Retail Division. Responsibilities include overseeing the staff, maintaining our high excellence in customer service, inventory management, brand consistency and increasing sales/profits. This role is responsible for motivating and developing his/her sales staff, executing the ideals and standards of the company and expanding our market.

The desired candidate must have significant experience in the position of retail management, knowledge of the dance and/or theatre industry is a plus but not a requirement. LaDuca Shoes is looking for a strong seasoned leader in business and retail management.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



- Provide leadership and team building; working with associates in driving sales, service, and profitability.

- Create and maintain a high performance team and environment.

- Set the standard in the training, coaching and motivation of all associates to achieve company goals, evaluate performance and provide feedback.

- Provide the store team with the tools and coaching required to meet the brand service standards.

- Focus on sales and profitability; establish and maintain customer standards, set work pace and deliver on store goals by maximizing productivity

- Work with wholesale accounts to maximize brand exposure and consistently provide inventory and service

- Oversee inventory maintenance, purchasing, and stocking

- Proactively generate ideas to develop business opportunities and maximize sales to achieve or exceed all financial goals established for the store

- Work with dance community to provide shows and dance troupes with stock product

- Work with Upper Management on large projects when called upon

- General Store Operations: maintaining the physical look and ambience, handle accounts payable/receivable, scheduling, staffing, and merchandising



JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor degree preferred

- Retail experience preferred

- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and Point of Sale Software

- 3-5 years management experience in the retail sector preferred

- Must exhibit sound business judgment, demonstrated management

and organizational ability

- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure

- Energy, attention to detail, initiative, leadership and

enthusiasm is required, along with a 'whatever it takes' attitude

- Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and motivate people

while driving company initiatives.

- Strong decision making skills such as problem analysis,

financial analytical ability and decisiveness. COMPENSATION
