Opera to Broadway: Mastering the Crossover is an intensive 2-day workshop designed to demystify the world of musical theater & empower opera singers to better sing and audition in that world.
Classes include improvisation, acting, dance, vocal interpretation and audition techniques as well as a Q & A session. “Can't Dance, Don't Ask Me” with a special guest choreographer & “You Want Me to Say Lines?—The Art of the Cold Reading” are just two of the many topics you’ll explore.

ANN ARVIA, A 13 year veteran of Broadway, has appeared in Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast and Les Miserables as well as such regional theaters as Arena Stage, Goodspeed Opera House & the Walnut Street Theatre. A Pavarotti Finalist, she has taught voice privately for 20 years as well as given Master Classes at universities across the United States and Croatia.
LINDA BROVSKY has directed over 75 musicals and operas for companies ranging from Chicago’s Court Theatre to the San Francisco Opera with recent credits including the Seattle Opera, Canadian Opera Company and Skylight Music Theater. Throughout her 35-year career, she has taught acting workshops and Master Classes for numerous universities and conservatories across North America and Israel and coaches privately.
