Head Carpenter - STOMP National Tour

Opening for Head Carpenter - North American Touring Production of STOMP Individual will be responsible for shepherding a smooth and safe load-in, performance, and load-out at every venue. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Keeping open lines of communication with Production Manager, touring crew, and local crew

• Maintaining the scenery and scenic equipment

• Leading local crews on load-in, performance, and load-out

• Executing show cues as well as changeover and pre/post show duties in a safe, professional and timely manner Qualified candidates must have an extensive background and relevant expertise in carpentry on tour. Substantial experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment is required. Candidates should also be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time, navigate stairs, ladders, etc. Moreover, applicants must be safety conscious, detail-oriented, organized, and articulate; maintaining a positive, affable disposition while working is critical. Route: includes one nighters, split-weeks, and week-long stays Compensation is $1,250/week + per diem + single occupancy housing In accordance with STOMP’s COVID-19 Safety Policy, applicant must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster.
