Verdi's La Traviata, the famous tragic love story set in 19th century Paris, tells of a young man, Alfredo Germont, who falls deeply in love with Violetta Valery, a French prostitute.  La Traviata, featuring a company of 60 including a full orchestra, will be performed in Italian with English supertitles.

La Traviata plays at the Times-Union Center's Moran Theater (300 West Water Street) on Sunday, March 4thfor one performance only!  Tickets for La Traviata start at $36.00.  Discounts are available for groups of 10+ by calling (904) 632-3228 or groupsales@fscj.edu.

Teatro Lirico D'Europa performs La Traviata (The Strayed Woman) by Giuseppe Verdi, with libretto by Francesco Maria Piave and based on the play by Alexander Dumas, La Dame Aux Camelias.
