Alhambra Presents THIS MAGIC MOMENT, Now thru 9/2
Grab your poodle skirts, leather jackets and go-go boots as The Alhambra Theatre & Dining announces a unique, first-time-ever special event: This Magic Moment. Featuring an energetic singing and dancing ensemble cast and a live band, Alhambra's Musical Director, Michael Ursua, will take the audience for a stroll down memory lane, reliving the pop music from the 1950s and 1960s.
This Magic Moment stars Broadway actor Eric Jon Mahlum, just off his stint at The Gershwin Theater as the witch's father in Wicked. Mahlum and the rest of the cast will sing and dance their way through various hit songs, including "Teenager in Love," "Sixteen Candles," " Secret Love," "This Magic Moment," "Crying," "Unchained Melody," "A World Without Love," "Only You," "Great Balls of Fire," "Let the Good Times Roll," "Barbara Ann," "My Boyfriend's Back," "Mr. Postman," "Both Sides Now," "It's Now or Never," "Where the Boys Are," "It's My Party," "R.E.S.P.E.C.T.," "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do," "Put Your Head On My Shoulder," "Yesterday," "Since I Don't Have You," and many more.
Like any Alhambra show, admission includes dinner with show-inspired menu selections from Executive Chef DeJuan Roy, the show and parking. The Alhambra is offering special pricing for this show, with all seats at just $42.
This Magic Moment runs four days only, tonight, August 30 through September 2. Shows start at 8:00 PM for evening shows. Doors open at 5:45 PM and dinner will be served until 7:30 PM. Matinees on Saturday are at 1:15 PM. Doors open at 11:00 AM and brunch starts at 11:15 AM. Sunday matinee is at 2:00. Doors open at noon and the meal start at 12:15 PM. Group sales are available.
