Thinking in Color: Selections from the Vault presents a unique exhibition of 40 works by Mississippi modernist Dusti Bongé, showcasing her exploration of color through watercolor, ink, and tempera. This exhibition highlights Bongé’s later creations inspired by her experiences and surroundings along the Gulf Coast, as well as her interest in Zen Buddhism. Organized by Ligia Römer, PhD, the collection features a spectrum of vibrant hues and communicates the emotional connections Bongé had with color throughout her life. The exhibition runs from January 20 to May 30, 2026, at the Dusti Bongé Art Foundation.
