New Stage Theatre's 48th season is upon us! For Jackson residents, New Stage has always been one of the most dependable places for quality, professional entertainment in town and this year is no different.

New Stage's first show this year is the delicious dark comedy "Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club" written by Jeffrey Hatcher.

Synopsis: In the heart of London, behind the impassive facade of a windowless house, some of Europe's most powerful men gather to play a game. The game is murder and this is The Suicide Club. But the club has a new member: Sherlock Holmes - brilliant, perceptive, the greatest detective in the English-speaking world. Does Holmes wish to die? Will he have to kill? Can his old friend Dr. Watson save him? Or doesn't Holmes want to be saved?

The show is directed by Brent Lefavor and stars:

The show runs from today, September 10-22. Sept. 10-14, 18-21 at 7:30 p.m., with special matinee performances on Sept. 15 and 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $28 for adults and $22 for students and seniors.
