New Stage Presents SISTER ACT

New Stage Theatre presents the musical comedy Sister Act May 29-June 10, 2018. Curtain times and dates for performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Sundays. Sister Act is the feel-amazing musical comedy smash that tells the hilarious story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look-a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship. Recommended for ages 11 and older.

The ensemble cast includes: Kimberly Morgan Myles (Ridgeland) as Deloris, Jessica Wilkinson (Florence) as Mother Superior, Taylor Galvin (Astoria, NY) as SM Robert, Kathlyn Arcemont (Jackson) as SM Patrick, Malaika Quarterman (Jackson) as SM Lazarus, Ray McFarland (Jackson) as Monsignor O'Hara, Andre Dion Wills (Willmington, DE) as Curtis, Andrew Coleman (Knightdale, NC) as Eddie, Xerron Mingo (Jackson) as TJ, Cameron Pitre (Jackson) as Joey, Hosea Griffith (Jackson) as Pablo, Sharon Miles (Jackson) as Tina, and Mandy Kate Myers (Pearl) as Michelle. Additional cast members include: Cynthia Stuart (Pelahatchie), Jill Penick (Clinton), Andrew Fehrenbacher (Clinton), Drew Stark (Starkville), Chris Roebuck (Ridgeland), Vershaune Stamps (Jackson), Macey Arrington (Glen Allan), and Leslie Ann Harkins (Jackson). Sister Act is directed by Peppy Biddy with musical direction by Carol Joy Sparkman. Myles and McFarland appear through the courtesy of the Actors' Equity Association.
