The Laurel Little Theatre will hold auditions for Visions of Broadway: A Frankie B. Revue on February 27th and 28th at 7:30 PM.

Visions of Broadway: A Frankie B. Revue is directed by Frankie Bennett and runs from April 19-22.

This musical is a season-ending musical revue. Broadway is brimming with great musicals that sometimes bypass local community theatres. Next spring, Visions of Broadway-A Frankie B. Revue will bring to life the songs from those shows right on the LLT stage. Gracing the Arabian audiences will be musical characters from classics that have been recently revived on Broadway such as Guys & Dolls and West Side Story; show tunes from current Broadway hits that have never been produced on the LLT stage (but might one day!) such as Mary Poppins, Catch Me If You Can, and Follies; and even great musical numbers from shows that possibly will never come to the local stage in their entirety due to limitations of budget, size or content such as Young Frankenstein and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Auditions for the Revue are February 27th and 28th, 2012. LLT auditions are usually very laid back and you don't really need to prepare anything. Just come on down and fill out a simple form with contact info. Newcomers are welcome. For musical auditions, you can sing anything you'd like or everyone will be taught a short song to sing together. If you bring sheet music, an accompanist will be there to play for you. You can prepare a song or just sing 'Happy Birthday' or the National Anthem or an old hymn or you can wait and learn a group song with everyone else.

The Laurel Little Theatre is locaed In The Historic 1927 Arabian Theatre At 408 5th Avenue, Laurel, MS 39442. For more information visit http://www.laurellittletheatre.com/index.html, email LLTLaurelMS@aol.com, or call 601.428.0140.
