Puccini: Turandot at Arena di Verona

Puccini's Turandot is presented in the Zeffirelli production that holds the Arena's box-office record, featuring costumes by Oscar-winning designer Emi Wada. Six performances are conducted by Verona native Andrea Battistoni, Music Director of Opera Australia and Turin's Teatro Regio. The rotating casts feature dramatic soprano Lise Lindstrom in the title role, tenor Brian Jagde as Calaf, and soprano Lisette Oropesa in her role debut as Liù.
