Transgression, greed, deception, illusion. Four keywords to a tragedy, that of General Macbeth, able to arouse deep questions each time on the dark side of human beings.
Macbeth. Biography of a killer, conceived and directed by Laura Pasetti, production of Charioteer Theatre of Morayshire, Scotland, see staged a journalist grapples with an interview with the ambiguous character who tells Shakespeare, during the last days of the siege at Cawdor Castle, its own history.
The most important scenes of the drama will be recited in the language of the Bard, constituting the linguistic stimuli, able to enhance the direction and enhance its effectiveness. The actor who plays the journalist will in contemporary English Macbeth while Italian comment on some of the most significant moments of the tragedy, facilitating the understanding of young people.
Macbeth relives the events that precipitate the have dragged into a criminal spiral, devoured by an unbridled ambition and at the same time torn by remorse for the brutal crimes of which it is responsible. His encounter with the witches, the assassination arranged with his wife, the latter's madness, that "walks" are just a few of the emblematic episodes that punctuate the crazy story for the conquest of a throne of blood, where supernatural events embody the human anguish.
