After the success of the storm and after the successful Opera Director of Verdi's Macbeth, Andrea De Rosa relates the scene in Shakespeare's shortest tragedy by choosing two strong performers for the main parts: Frédérique Loliée, her favorite actress and memorable interpreter of Electra, and Giuseppe Battiston, cinematic and theatrical talent.
Says the Director: "Said a philosopher that, among all the evils, the worst is what our wishes come true. I understand the sense of this paradoxical only in front of Macbeth. What Witches the reveal is his desire more secret lusts. I think it's there, in saying their dreams and desires, that the dark side of Macbeth takes shape. That's where the mysterious side of life faces, in the form of vision, of happiness, of terror. "
