CLICHÉ by PJ Kirby at The Everyman, Cork

Warning: this show contains a gay man having an identity crisis as he turns thirty. You may experience extreme eye rolling.

Join PJ Kirby in his first solo comedy show as he looks at his life through the lens of a film camera and comes to terms with the fact that for his entire existence he has basically been a walking Cliché.

I mean, a cis white man doing a one-man show about his life is another one that we can add to the list.

“For all its spiritual ebullience, Cliché also explores some serious questions about sexual identity, social privilege and what the gay community has lost, and gained, in recent decades. One bold liberty he takes is the dismantling of toxic positivity and the power of radical self-acceptance.” – Irish Independent
