Following on from last year’s sold-out shows in the Linenhall, Castlebar Musical and Dramatic Society returns with two more Ken Armstrong comedy plays - ‘A Sort of Whodunnit?’ and ‘The Doubles Partner.’
‘The Doubles Partner,’ won the inaugural Claremorris Fringe Festival. The story revolves around a husband who invites his new mixed doubles partner to his house without telling his wife. The rest is history. ‘A Sort of Whodunnit?’ has not been previously performed, which makes it a sort of premiere. In the play, three strangers conspire to try to make their dreams come true. All does not go to plan.
Ken’s plays are warm, sometimes laugh-out-loud funny, and with an occasional tinge of violence and/or heartfelt emotion. They generally prove popular with audiences. We hope you can join us at the Linenhall on either October 16 or 17 for what promises to be a couple of really fun evenings.
