Live music to brighten up your family's day! Roscommon Arts Centre is delighted to welcome The WhistleBlast Quartet to Roscommon for their first ever visit with an exciting, informal and informative concert for all ages on Thursday 3rd April at 6.30pm.

Featuring lots of different music genres from well known Irish tunes, a new work by composer John Buckley, film themes and much more, this is THE perfect introduction to classical music for children, young people and all the family!

Come along to hear the WhistleBlast Quartet's mini-orchestral sounds. Inspire the interest of young people through this fun-filled Concert of live music!

The Quartet, comprising of four professional musicians with many years experience with The National Concert Orchestra and Riverdance under their belts, prides itself in making live classical music accessible to all. Ken Edge (Saxophones and Clarinet) Mary Curran (French Horn) Síle Daly (Oboe and Cor Anglais) and Andrew Synnott (Piano) make up the quartet.

This Concert Programme is part of a ten-theatre tour and it also incorporates a school's outreach programme involving up to 240 students per day.
