The Spitfire Grill, presented by the Department of Theatre at Purdue University Fort Wayne, follows Percy Talbott, a young woman seeking a fresh start in the small town of Gilead, Wisconsin, where she finds work at a local restaurant and helps the community rediscover their sense of human kindness. With a folk-inspired score and memorable characters, this musical is a celebration of second chances and found families. The production is directed by Dr. Julie Lyn Barber, with music direction by Rolin Mains, and features a cast of PFW Theatre majors and minors alongside guest artist Julie Donnell in the role of Hannah Ferguson. The show is rated PG-13 and runs April 17–25 at Williams Theatre on the PFW campus.
