Without question one of the funniest farces ever written, Noises Off presents a three act manic menagerie as a cast of bumbling actors rehearse a flop called Nothing’s On. The 1992 film version featured one of the funniest casts of all time with Carol Burnett, John Ritter, Christopher Reeve, and Michael Caine to name a few. Civic audiences will see in the first act the final dress rehearsal where actors are still struggling for lines as the director tries to keep his temper. The second act takes us backstage to watch the behind the scenes slapstick comedy shenanigans as lovers quarrel during an actual performance on stage. Finally the third act devolves into an all out war during the final performance of their tour. This dizzy fast paced romp is a festival of delirium. Noises Off will most certainly prove to be a riotous laugh out loud comedy sure to please
