Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre is proud to welcome the Wright Brothers band in 2009 for its annual Race Day concert!

"Indiana's Band" perform live on stage at 8 p.m. May 24.

A concert by the Wright Brothers band is a celebration in versatility. Their tight harmonies and flawless instrumentation seamlessly move from a 1940s big band song to a reworking of a Beatles classic and then to rock 'n' roll favorites from any of five decades.

The Wright Brothers is a family band, both literally and figuratively. Its smooth sound includes Tim Wright, Tom Wright, John McDowell, Frank Bradford and Bryan Chrisman, as well as Tim's daughters, Emily and Lauren.

Included in the show will be songs the band performed on the Hoosier Jubilee radio show. Taped in front of a live audience, this hour-long musical variety show featured music from classic rock and pop to bluegrass and gospel, Western swing and 40s Big Band.

Dinner precedes the concert. Doors open at 6 p.m. with Chef Odell Ward's specially prepared buffet served from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Tickets range from just $26 to $38, and include the dinner buffet and the concert. Parking is always free. For tickets, call the box office at 317.872.9664. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
