THE WIZARD OF OZ Pushes Back Opening Night in Indianapolis

Broadway in Indianapolis has announced that the Tuesday, January 12 performance of THE WIZARD OF OZ has been cancelled due to routing issues. The show will go on as scheduled the remaining Wednesday-Sunday performances. Ticket holders for the Tuesday, January 12 performance may exchange tickets through their original point of purchase. Every attempt will be made to facilitate comparable seating.

Broadway in Indianapolis subscribers, or tickets purchased through BroadwayinIndianapolis.com will need to call 800-793-7469 to exchange their tickets or to receive a credit on their account.

Tickets purchased through TicketMaster.com will be automatically refunded and ticket buyers will need to repurchase tickets into another performance, if desired. Patrons who purchased from a TicketMaster outlet will need to return to their point of purchase for a refund or exchange.

Tickets purchased at Clowes Memorial Hall will have to be exchanged in-person at the box office.

This production of THE WIZARD OF OZ is an enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic. Developed from the ever popular MGM screenplay, this new production contains the beloved Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg songs from the Oscar-winning movie score, all the favorite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises along the way, including new songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

THE WIZARD OF OZ will perform 7 shows at Clowes Memorial Hall from January 13-17. The performance schedule is Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm, Friday & Saturday evenings at 8 pm, Saturday matinee at 2 pm, Sunday matinee at 1 pm, and Sunday evening at 6:30 pm. Tickets start at $28 and are available in person at The Old National Centre Ticket Office, Clowes Memorial Hall, online at BroadwayinIndianapolis.com, or by phone at 1-800-982-2787. Groups of 10 or more can book now by calling 317-632-7469 x103.
