The artistic staff for LINCOLN includes theatre professionals with Broadway credentials and Hollywood experience.

"We have assembled an impressive team of artistic professionals," says Lincoln Amphitheatre's executive producer, Steve Wright. "They bring Broadway and Hollywood experience to southern Indiana, where they are collaborating in the rebirth of our magnificent, 1,500-seat amphitheatre."

The world premiere of LINCOLN, by playwright Ken Jones, will take place this summer on the very grounds where Abraham Lincoln grew up. Performed in a 1,500-seat, roofed amphitheatre, LINCOLN will leave audiences with a deep understanding of the role Indiana played in forging the character of America's 16th president. Lincoln Amphitheatre offers a "Lincoln experience" that includes an Amish-style meal, pre-show activities for children and adults, and theatre under the stars. Enhanced by multimedia projections and period music, the production of LINCOLN will give theatre-goers an insight into the life of the man whose legacy continues to impact the future.

The world premiere of LINCOLN will take place June 12, with shows nightly except Monday through August 15; tickets are available online or by calling the box office. Lincoln Amphitheatre is located inside scenic Lincoln State Park in Lincoln City, Indiana. For more information about Lincoln Amphitheatre visit www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com or call 1-800-264-4223.
