A Terrorist Hanged is a theatre performance that deals with colonization of the mind and vision through which the subaltern views the societal injustice.

A village yokel, Jagannath whose thought process and actions are often obscure to common reason. Had he been judged or harassed less or even shown some empathy or attention, he would have had a very different story to tell. But when he clashes with Nando, a fellow villager of similar background, they mirror each others plight seen through different angles. Whether its Manoroma's affection or Nalini's lust, Samar Das' whiplashes or Nando's call to agitate, Jagannath never rises to the occasion.

Yet, in the end, he is tried as a revolutionary by the British court.
Coward as he was, why did Jagai finally accept the noose with a smile on his face?
