Primary Trust, a poignant and funny play by Eboni Booth, opens at Farmers Alley Theatre on January 22, 2026. The story follows Kenneth, a 38-year-old bookstore worker faced with the closure of his beloved shop, prompting him to reconsider his life choices and explore new beginnings. Directed by Broadway veteran Jerry Dixon, the production features a talented cast, including DeVaughn Asante Loman as Kenneth, Byron Glenn Willis as Bert, and local actors Bianca Washington and Michael Ray Helms. This Pulitzer Prize-winning play highlights the importance of friendship and small acts of kindness in a community.
