La Maleta de Maebelle (Maebelle's Suitcase) at Penfold Theatre Company

Maebelle lives in her treehouse and is an incredible hat maker. She’s been working hard ahead of the town’s annual hat contest when she befriends Binkle, a bird with a migration dilemma. He’s trying to carry too much on his flight south for the winter! As Maebelle generously offers her cherished suitcase from her own migration from Colombia, they delve into profound reflections on the significance of our possessions and memories. Through laughter and tears, Maebelle and Binkle help each other discover the beauty of remembrance and the liberating power of letting go.

Maebelle vive en su casa del árbol y es una increíble creadora de sombreros. Está trabajando arduamente para el concurso anual de sombreros de su pueblo cuando se hace amiga de Binkle, un pájaro con un problema de migración. ¡Está tratando de llevar demasiado en su vuelo al sur para el invierno! Maebelle, generosamente, le ofrece su preciada maleta de cuando ella migró desde Colombia. Juntos, reflexionan sobre el significado de nuestras posesiones y recuerdos. A través de risas y lágrimas, Maebelle y Binkle se ayudan mutuamente a descubrir la belleza del recuerdo y el poder de dejar ir.
