The cast of TUTS Underground's new musical LMNOP has undergone a last minute switch.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Jared Zirilli has stepped in for Jason Gotay as 'Nate Warren' in the show from Paul Loesel and Scott Burkell, based upon the novel ELLA MINOW PEA by Mark Dunn, who departed for personal reasons.

LMNOP - A New Muzical, began performances last night, April 7, in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center in Houston, where it will continue through April 19.

According to press notes, "Chaos arises when letters begin to fall from a town monument and government officials ban them one by one. The community depends on the strength of a determined teenage girl to fight for their freedom of speech. This unique musical is part romance, part clever word game and part adult fable that reminds us of how precious our liberties are and how important it is to have the courage to stand up for what we believe."

The creative team includes director Joe Calarco, choreographer Marlo Hunter, musical director Jack Beetle, lighting designerChristina Giannelli, sound designer Andrew Harper, set designer Ryan McGettigan, costume designer Colleen Grady, music supervisor Dominick Amendum and orchestrations by Lynne Shankel.
