Dr. Karolina Syrovatkova Presents GREAT WOMEN IN MUSIC in the Czech Center Museum Houston

Dr. Karolina Syrovatkova presents "Great Women in Music" in the Czech Center Museum Houston at 4920 SAN JACINTO Street on November 7, 2019 at 7:30 PM.
The concert will be in memory of Effie Rosene, founder, and CEO of the Czech Center Museum. Dr. Karolina Syrovatkova, Czech-born, award-winning pianist will play the classical music of Vitezslava Kapralova, as well as dramatize her life in "Lady in a Bow Tie." Kapralova was a conductor, composer, and pianist. The performance takes place against the backdrop of Czechoslovakia's creation in 1918 and in the time between the world wars, a golden era for the country. Tickets range between $29 and $45 including access to an open bar in the Brno Gallery. All proceeds will benefit the Czech Center Museum Houston. Karolina Syrovatkova has been hailed for her creativity in forging new ways to enjoy and connect classical music for a wider audience.
