Eight O'Clock at Noah's Ark (An der Arche um acht) at Deutsches Theater

Three penguins on the ice are bored and quarrelling about life’s big questions: Who is God? What does he look like? Is God a tall, old man with a white beard or perhaps some kind of toaster? Does he bear grudges? Would he admit to making mistakes? And does he prefer cheesecake with or without raisins? It the middle of their philosophical discussion, it starts to rain: the Flood is coming. A dove appears with two tickets for Noah’s ark. For the two penguins who are chosen, one thing is clear: they are not going to abandon their friend. And so they smuggle him on board the ark in a suitcase as a stowaway.
