Miika Nousiainen's Surface Renovation Premieres on the National Theater's Grand Stage
The production will be premiered on the Grand Stage on October 27, 2021.
The comedy, based on Miika Nousiainen 's best-selling novel of the same name (Otava, 2020), takes the surface deeper into the lives and emotional irresponsibility of middle-aged city dwellers; the longing for love and family that haunts them and the need to be cared for and cared for.
"Emotional, elevated realism," director Irenen Aho describes the genre of the upcoming performance.
The work, which will now be premiered, continues the success tube of Nousiainen's novel dramatizations at the National Theater. Earlier works position shown in Maaninkavaara (2011), Forest Plus (2013) and Endodontics (2016) discloses a sold-out stand.
