$5,000 stipend + workshops, readings, feedback
The Playwrights Realm Writing Fellowship is a nine-month residency for four early-career playwrights living within commuting distance of Manhattan. Each fellow develops a single new play with a $5,000 award, paid rehearsal time, twice-monthly writers' group meetings, one-on-one sessions with artistic staff, two readings with a director, designers and actors, and tailored professional-development programming. The fellowship culminates in a public presentation at the INK'D Festival of New Plays.
Four early-career playwrights per year; NYC-based participation; one full-length play developed over the season.
