Overview
The (Re)Envision Directing Residency supports a stage director reimagining a public-domain text for contemporary audiences during a week-long residency at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY. The recipient receives $4,000, up to four optional collaborators receive $950 stipends, and the Drama League adds up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement alongside housing in Hubbard Hall's Lovejoy Artist Residency. The week concludes with a Saturday community sharing; one residency is offered annually and the 2027 application opens September 2026.
