Overview
The (Re)Engage Directing Residency is reserved for mid-career alumni of Drama League Directors Project programs and offers one week each August at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY to develop a project the director is already engaged to direct. The recipient receives $4,000, up to four collaborators receive $950 each, and Hubbard Hall provides artist housing, rehearsal space and a production intern; the week ends with a Saturday community sharing. One residency is awarded annually; the 2027 application opens September 2026.
Eligibility
Only alumni of Drama League Directors Project fellowships, residencies, assistantships, or exchanges; must have an existing project they are engaged to direct.
