The Beatrice Terry Directing Residency is a play-development residency for women and nonbinary directors who also write or adapt the text of their own work, held for one week each August at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY. The recipient receives $4,000, collaborators can receive $950 stipends, housing and up to $1,000 travel reimbursement are provided, and an optional additional $1,000 is available within two years toward a New York industry reading. Named for director-writer Beatrice Terry, the residency is awarded once annually; the 2027 application opens September 2026.
