Overview
Colt Coeur's residency program (the CoCo Residency, launched in 2017) supports a small cohort of playwrights, directors, designers and creative producers over a year of quarterly meetings focused on new-work development and multidisciplinary theater-making. Residents receive a stipend and free rehearsal space, meet with Artistic Director Adrienne Campbell-Holt, and take part in conversations with invited leaders from the field. Play Hotel, the company's separate development arena, offers 3-10 day workshops that end in free public readings; 2026-27 residency applications closed in July 2026.
Eligibility
Playwrights, directors, designers, producers, dramaturgs; NYC-based; capped at 200 playwright and 200 non-playwright applications.
