Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) will host a ribbon cutting event to celebrate the opening of its new space, Studio 6 Broadway on Monday, September 17 at 3pm at 6 Broadway North in Downtown Fargo.

FMCT members and patrons; local artists, business leaders, and all those interested in viewing the space are encouraged to attend this short afternoon event. FMCT Executive Director Eloise Breikjern and Board President Jay Nelson will partake in the ribbon cutting honors and will speak as to how the space works as an extension of FMCT, and how it is being utilized to meet current rehearsal space needs, and has helped to expand FMCT ED programming. Following the ribbon cutting, attendees will be given the opportunity to tour the site. Snacks will be available.

Over the summer, Studio 6 Broadway housed two sections of full-day elementary production camps in June, and four week-long Creative Camps in July. This Fall, the space will house the FMCT ED Youth Conservatory courses, while also serving as additional rehearsal space for the community theatre's 2018/2019 season productions.

Studio 6 Broadway has studio areas available for small performances or music recitals, vocal and dance lessons, community and corporate events, piano and theatre classes, or art courses.
