SEEKING

Equity chorus singers for the Broadway production of WARRIORS.

PREPARATION

Please prepare 16 bars of an R&B, pop, or rock song that centers on strong storytelling while also showcasing your vocal ability. Please, no musical theatre selections. Bring sheet music, as an accompanist will be provided. Please also bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

SEEKING

[ENSEMBLE 1] Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Female-identifying. Versatile singing voice, able to blend, must have belt or strong mix up to C/D. The enigmatic, golden voice of the radio in WARRIORS. She narrates gang movements, delivers updates, and heightens tension on the chase. Charismatic with extremely strong R&B chops and the ability to sing and speak with an Jamaican accent. Has a strong physical vocabulary and confident movement ability. Note: This track will involve stage combat.

SEEKING

PERFORMERS WITH THE ABILITY TO SING AND SPEAK WITH A JAMAICAN ACCENT.

[ENSEMBLE 2] Early 20s – early 30s. Any ethnicity. Female-identifying. Flashy solo vocals, with a chest-voice belt up to D, who can easily blend with other voices. Strong R&B singer. As a member of the Hurricanes, this character has the ability to read the Warriors with style, energy and charm. Highly versatile and physically dynamic, proficient in multiple dance styles including hip hop, salsa, and contemporary. Brings grounded athleticism and adaptability, with additional skills such as skating, acrobatics, stunt work, stage combat, martial arts, or boxing a strong plus. Covers Warriors.

[ENSEMBLE 3] Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Female-identifying. Seasoned vocalist who can hold their own harmonies, mid-range with a chest-voice belt. Featured dancer. Highly versatile and physically dynamic, proficient in multiple dance styles including hip hop, salsa, and contemporary. Brings grounded athleticism and adaptability, with additional skills such as skating, acrobatics, stunt work, stage combat, martial arts, or boxing a strong plus. Covers Warriors.

[ENSEMBLE 4] Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Effortless high vocal range, virtually no break, pop and R&B stylings, able to belt to a high Bb and riff in head voice. Could easily be a member of Boyz II Men.

SEEKING

a versatile singer with R&B falsetto who also has the ability to sing and speak in Spanish, and, as a member of the Hurricanes, read the Warriors with style, energy and charm. Has a strong physical vocabulary and confident movement ability. Note: This track will involve stage combat. ABILITY TO SING AND SPEAK IN SPANISH A PLUS.

[ENSEMBLE 5] Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Tenor range, comfortable up to a full-voice A, must have pop sound and R&B stylings, and ability to blend. Can seamlessly transition between styles, delivering powerful house-style vocals and shifting into an irresistible boy band crooner. Has a strong physical vocabulary and confident movement ability. Note: This track will involve stage combat.

[ENSEMBLE 6] Early 20s – early 30s. Korean. Male-identifying. Tenor range, comfortable up to a full-voice G, pop-singing sound AND strong expressive rapper. Embodies the sleek, stylish energy of a modern K-Pop heartthrob. Has the ability to rap and speak in Korean with a strong, versatile voice capable of executing both intense rap sequences and melodic passages with ease. Must also effortlessly shape-shift into the punk-pop stylings of emo rock. Note: This track will involve stage combat.

SEEKING

PERFORMERS WHO CAN RAP AND SPEAK FLUENTLY IN KOREAN.

[ENSEMBLE 7] Early 20s – Early 40s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Rapper. High, dramatic tenor voice - must have Latin 'sonero' style sound, able to sing with power to a Bb. A veteran gang member, hardened by street life as well as a policeman on the hunt for the Warriors. Exudes authority, charisma, and rhythm. Has the ability to sing and speak in Spanish and is an extremely skilled singer and rapper, with a strong, versatile voice capable of executing intense rap sequences, being a whiny, Blink 182 wailer, and also shifting into an irresistible boy band crooner. Has a strong physical vocabulary and confident movement ability. Note: This track will involve stage combat. ABILITY TO SING AND SPEAK IN SPANISH A PLUS.

[ENSEMBLE 8] Early 20s – early 30s. White. Male-identifying. Very high tenor, able to sing cleanly and with grit, full-voice to a high C.

SEEKING

a high tenor with a great sense of comic timing to pursue the Warriors as a member of the Rogues. Highly versatile and physically dynamic, proficient in multiple dance styles including hip hop, salsa, and contemporary. Brings grounded athleticism and adaptability, with additional skills such as skating, acrobatics, stunt work, stage combat, martial arts, or boxing a strong plus.

[ENSEMBLE 9] Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Tenor range chest-voice with an ability to blend and comic timing. Must be a vocalist capable of being a whiny, Blink 182 wailer and the ability to sing and speak in Spanish. Highly versatile and physically dynamic, proficient in multiple dance styles including hip hop, salsa, and contemporary. Brings grounded athleticism and adaptability, with additional skills such as skating, acrobatics, stunt work, stage combat, martial arts, or boxing a strong plus. ABILITY TO SING AND SPEAK IN SPANISH A PLUS.

[ENSEMBLE 10] Early 20s – Late 40s. Any ethnicity. Male-identifying. Featured vocalist, high baritone with strong, clear falsetto, and grounded acting chops. Must have a versatile voice capable of executing melodic passages with ease. Highly versatile and physically dynamic, proficient in multiple dance styles including hip hop, salsa, and contemporary. Brings grounded athleticism and adaptability, with additional skills such as skating, acrobatics, stunt work, stage combat, martial arts, or boxing a strong plus.

[ENSEMBLE 11] Early 20s – early 30s. Any ethnicity. Male-identifying. Tenor voice up to a high G, and ability to blend. Highly versatile and physically dynamic, proficient in multiple dance styles including hip hop, salsa, and contemporary. Brings grounded athleticism and adaptability, with additional skills such as skating, acrobatics, stunt work, stage combat, martial arts, or boxing a strong plus.

[ENSEMBLE 12] Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Baritone voice up to a high E, and ability to blend. Highly versatile and physically dynamic, proficient in multiple dance styles including hip hop, salsa, and contemporary. Brings grounded athleticism and adaptability, with additional skills such as skating, acrobatics, stunt work, stage combat, martial arts, or boxing a strong plus.
