ZEIT SMITH: Early 60s Black male. Billionaire who wants to live forever. Charming and gregarious, surprisingly down to earth, yet can turn terrifying at the drop of a hat. He is lonely, loving in his own way, and wants to do the right thing.
PROFESSOR CHRIS COFFEY: Late 30s-early 40s male, any ethnicity. Assistant Professor studying aging. He is deeply passionate and proud to be a scientist yet still yearns to be invited to sit with the cool kids. A bit socially awkward, occasionally stubborn, but confident in his expertise.
JEFFREY JORDAN: Late 20s male, any ethnicity. Grad student working for Professor Coffey. Headstrong and tenacious but has always been perceived as good-hearted and kind. He wants to be respected and knows integrity may only get you so far.
IVAN SHELLEY: Early 20s Black male. Zeit Smith’s assistant. Wise, professional, and poised, yet wide-eyed and perhaps naïve. Surprised by his own fragility and desire for power.
