SEEKING

Actor/Musicians with strong comedic timing and musical skill. Specifically interested in those musicians who can
accompany themselves.

Don Pedro Patriarch (30-50) (M/F) Drives the action of the play and is largely in charge.

Don John/Sexton Villain (20-50) (M/F) Brother of Pedro, Iago-light. Also doubles as a comic character.

Leonato Father to Hero, noble but proud. (40-60) (M)

Benedick Dedicated bachelor (20-40), (M) firmly against falling in love. Not classic lover material.

Claudio Ingenue male (20-30), (M) classic lover

Ursula Strong willed lady (possible soldier 20-40), (F) iron will lightly veiled by great sense of fun

Borachio Cad (20-40), minion to Don John

Dogberry Bumbling Constable (20-50), clown. (M/F)

Verges Bumbling assistant Constable (20-50), clown's assistant. (M/F)

Beatrice Leading lady (20-40), (F) also firmly against falling in love. Looking for non-classical casting

Hero Ingenue lady (20-30), (F) classic ingenue

Margaret Serving-lady (20-30), looking for strong singer/musician. (F)

Friar/Musician Musician (20-50), onstage throughout and will play underscoring/musical numbers. (M/F)

Balthasar/Musician Musician (20-50), onstage throughout and will play underscoring/musical numbers. (M/F)
