Notes on play: A relationship is followed from its giddy beginnings to its unhappy end, replete with a running commentary from a Peanut Gallery of friends, examining the expectations, the hopes, the sexual nitty gritty, how so much goes great before it all goes smash. A certain amount of this play is spoken directly and conversationally with the Audience. The play should possess an exuberant theatricality.
REHEARSAL/PRODUCTION SCHEDULE
First rehearsal: week of September 29; week of October 20 - load in, lighting, tech, dress; First Preview - Saturday, October 25 - 8:00 pm; Second Preview - Sunday, October 26 - 2:00 pm; 14 more performances thereafter, closing Sunday, October 16; performances upstairs at Davenport Theatre, 354 W. 45th Street, NY, NY (one block from Shubert Alley)
