SEEKING

Actors for upcoming production of HARMONY PARK by Daniel Damiano. See breakdown for details.

PREPARATION

Knowledge of the script is highly recommended. Scripts are available at the Repertory and may be taken from the Theatre overnight with a $20 refundable deposit. The audition will consist of reading sides from the script. Sides will be provided. Also be prepared to do a one-minute monologue if asked.

BREAKDOWN

ERNIE: Middle to late 50s. African-American, sturdy build, from the Bronx. Wise, cultured, self-educated, self-made in many respects. Foreman for the City Parks landscaping crew.

MIKE: Mid to late 20s. White, from Brooklyn. Honest, talkative, curious, in sync with Ernie’s sense of humor. Landscaper.

JOSE: Mid to late 40s. Hispanic, from Queens. Neurotic, good humored. Long time assistant foreman to Ernie.

SAM: Mid 40s. White, from Brooklyn. Tough, sense of humor, at a more vulnerable stage.

The audition will consist of reading sides from the script. Also, be prepared to do a one minute monologue, if asked.
