BREAKDOWN

AUDREY [20–40] A shepherdess in the Forest of Arden and eventual wife of Touchstone. Country to the core and loves it.

CELIA [20–35] The young daughter of Duke Frederick, cousin to Rosalind, and eventual wife of Oliver. Fierce defender of the people she loves.

JAQUES [35–55] A traveler. Not without humor, but carries with her a deep sadness.

PHOEBE [Female Identifying, 20–35] A shepherdess in the Forest of Arden and eventual spouse of Silvius. Straightforward and sharp, but not without warmth and humor.

ROSALIND [20–35] The young daughter of Duke Senior, cousin to Celia, and spouse of Orlando. Razor sharp wit, a quick tongue, and a giant heart.

CHARLES [20–35] Duke Frederick's champion wrestler. Not a bad guy but does what needs doing. Stage combat experience required.

DUKE FREDERICK [40–55] Father of Celia and usurping brother of Duke Senior. Cruel and paranoid tendencies with hope for redemption.

OLD SIR ROWLAND [30–55] The late father of Orlando and Oliver.

OLIVER [25–40] Older sibling to Orlando and eventual spouse of Celia. Angry and jealous of Orlando, but not sure why. Stage combat experience a plus.

ORLANDO [20–35] Younger brother to Oliver and eventual spouse of Rosalind. Leads with his heart and is desperate to find a place for himself. Stage combat experience required.

SILVIUS [20–35] A young shepherd and eventual spouse of Phoebe. Head over heels and devoted (to a fault) to Phoebe.

TOUCHSTONE [25–50] Duke Frederick's jester and eventual spouse of Audrey. A natural entertainer, lightning fast thinker, and would be a cynic if not for his soft heart.

WILLIAM [20–40] A resident of Arden who loves Audrey. Simple, sweet, and no match for competing with Touchstone.

ADAM [Any Gender, 40+] An employee of Orlando's late father who now looks after Orlando. Loyal and kind.

AMIENS [Any Gender, 25+] A talented bard and follower of Duke Senior. Down to earth and warm. Must sing and play an acoustic instrument.

CORIN [Any Gender, 40+] A shepherd who eventually works for Rosalind and Celia. Beautifully simple and a natural philosopher.

DUKE SENIOR [Any Gender, 40–55] Parent of Rosalind and usurped sibling of Duke Frederick. Gentle, yet firm; a leader who is able to inspire others in the worst of circumstances.

LE BEAU [Any Gender, 25–65] A servant in Duke Frederick's court. Does his bidding, but not without conscience.
